TRUST: The Glue That Holds Everything Together
In my previous post, we explored how to navigate life when we don’t have a plan. We looked at three layers of navigation that can guide us:
Reconnecting to our intuition
Being deeply rooted in our own values
And allowing a vision to unfold naturally
Today, I want to dive a little deeper into these layers - what happens in between and what holds them all together.
Trusting the Unknown
Trusting the unknown is allowing ourselves to sit in the space of not knowing. It is, in many ways, the glue that holds everything together when we let ourselves be guided by intuition. There’s no quick fix for this. Learning to be comfortable in uncertainty requires deep inner listening and gentle being with what is. The more we allow ourselves to be present in that space, the more natural it becomes.
Our minds are conditioned to seek certainty. We want to know what will happen and what the outcome will be.
But the more we experience being in the unknown, the more we learn that it is okay no to know - that it’s safe to be here, in this space of uncertainty.
Navigating Step by Step
When we begin to reconnect to our intuition and root ourselves in our values, a vision begins to emerge. The path is never fixed. Sometimes we can see far ahead, other times only the steps directly in front of us appear.
Step by step, the path unfolds. Along the way, we can pause and notice:
Is this aligned with my values?
Or is it coming from external expectations or “shoulds”?
Whenever a “should” arises, it is usually a great invitation to pause, notice, and reconnect to what truly feels ours in this moment. And if something no longer serves us, there is the space to let it go and move with what feels more aligned instead.
Learning From the Flow
Sometimes life takes us in directions we didn’t expect.
That’s the beauty of navigating without a plan.
Each detour reveals more about our values, our intuition, and how our vision grows and changes.
The path is never rigid; it unfolds as we move, and trust allows it to happen naturally.
So what if we do not need a roadmap?
What if we simply move with life, with curiosity and presence, and allow clarity to emerge along the way…
